TRIO Philadelphia transplant candidate events
Our chapter, with its rich local resource of 43 transplant programs, designed and carried out some 'Transplant Patient Workshops" held at the Gift of Life Donor Program offices in Philadelphia.

With an agenda build around the UNOS "What Every Patient Needs to Know" patient guide, our chapter members and invited medical professional speakers offered attendees insights as to what transplant life can hold for successful living with an organ transplant.
Several other follow-up workshops were planned and agendas built, addressing the transplant recipient audience, but never offered once built. Maybe someday we will resurrect those plans (with your help?)
