Jim Gleason
Jim's heart transplant at Penn Medicine (Phila) was done in October of 1994, some 26 years ago now. Jim is our current immediate past president, having served in that role for the past 11 years. He is heavily engaged with UNOS, having served on its committees since 1999 and twice as a national UNOS/OPTN board member.
Bill Soloway
Heart Recipient, Bill Soloway, is our newest president, taking office in July of 2020, a man of many interests and talents, Bill offers his passion and energy to our chapter and many other community groups and patients in gratitude for his heart donor.
Bob & Sue Kelchner
Bob is a two-time living kidney recipient, first way back in '92 from his wife, Sue, and more recently, in '08 from his daughter, Laura. Sue is our vice-president. They both have been fully engaged with the chapter since its founding in 1997.
Bob Goodman
Bob is our newest board member, having been elected in July 2020. A heart recipient Nov 2013 at Penn in Philadelphia, shown here with his beautiful wife, Patti. Bob worked in the medical industry, even launching a local hospital transplant department, currently serving as national Treasurer for UNOS/OPTN.
Elizabeth Rubin
Elizabeth is a liver recipient 28 years out, co-founder of this chapter, serving as its first president for 12 years until 2009. A woman of many talents she currently serves the chapter as its treasurer. She continues to be active on the TRIO national board having served as its president back in the late 1990's.
Susan Pincus
Susan is a long time kidney/pancreas recipient and local Philadelphia based business owner. Since the late '90's Susan has been fully engaged in all our activities and events, serving as the chapter's talented and official photographer.
