Trio Philadelphia joins in celebrating our president, Bill, shown above, on his 6th heart transplant anniversary recently, as he rode this bike from Phiily to Conshohocken and back, later celebrating that heart milestone with family over dinner.

Howard M. Nathan, President and CEO of Gift of Life Donor Program (with over 40 years of leadership service) and 1975 graduate of Juniata College, delivered the Commencement Address at Juniata College’s 143rd Commencement Ceremony on May 19. He also received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree. Howard was introduced by 17-year-old liver transplant recipient, Onyi Kenine.

 

Howard is a longtime friend of TRIO Philadelphia and we congratulate him on receiving this honor.

As a person impacted by the gift of an organ transplant and organ donation, it seems hard to express that gratitude given (except for a living donation) the typical anonymous nature of that gifting process. TRIO Philadelphia offers a way for expressing that gratitude with active engagement and support in the many ways TRIO offers support for so many others in the name of your own thanks for your donor.



Bob Kelchner, a long time TRIO Philadelphia (I mean like more than two decades of faithful family active engagement) with his family (both wife and daughter are his living kidney donors) share their testimony in this interview opportunity.
