a Every month, on the 4th Tuesday at 6:30 pm, chapter member s and guests gather using ZOOM on-line video conferencing to share life stories and plan ways to support the community with TRIO's mission; usually, there will be a speaker sharing something related to the donor/transplant experience or similar topic

TRIO: Transplant Recipients International Organization, Inc.

TRIO Philadelphia was chartered on June 4, 1997, as a member of the TRIO national network of local support chapters by our co-founder and first president, Elizabeth Rubin, and a group of dedicated and passionate transplant recipients, living donors and their caregiver family supporters.  Our chapter has a long history of active engagement both in the TRIO national board and many local like-minded organizations such as the regional OPO (organ procurement organization), the Gift of Life Donor Program.
